Once we visited designer Victoria Birch’s seaside home in Falmouth, on Cape Cod, a number of summers in the past, we had been charmed by the backstory—Victoria labored along with her faculty roommate, architect Tei Carpenter, on the challenge—and by the artistic method the buddies took to create a “low cost, cheerful, and sturdy” summer time cottage, as Victoria places it. The eating room, an open area clad in head-to-toe shiplap, has spray-painted wicker lampshades, a reclaimed wooden farm desk, and our favourite price range eating chairs. Right here’s a roundup of sources to duplicate the look.
